We’re going to learn how fashion can be kind to the Earth by reusing materials and avoiding waste. You’ll design your own outfit, practice your runway walk, and share the story behind your look. 

• How fast fashion harms nature

• How to reuse and recycle creatively

• How to express yourself through design and performance

• How to speak confidently about your ideas

• Old clothes, fabric scraps

• Recycled items: cardboard, plastic, paper, wrappers

• Scissors, glue, tape, safety pins

• Markers, yarn, glitter, paints

• A space to walk like a runway

• Music and a camera or phone (optional for photos!)

1. Intro Talk 

Let’s start by talking about clothes:

“Did you know fashion creates lots of waste? Fast fashion means clothes are made quickly and thrown away fast.”

Now let’s think:

• “What happens to clothes when we don’t wear them?”

• “How can we reuse them instead of throwing them away?”

Share examples of real brands that recycle fashion or show a few pictures of upcycled clothes.

2. Design Your Eco Outfit! 

Time to be designers! Use all the recycled stuff to create your own outfit.

You can choose a fun theme, like:

• Forest Guardian 

• Ocean Protector 

• Future Planet Hero

Make skirts, capes, accessories, hats — anything goes, as long as it’s reused or recycled!

Work in pairs or teams if needed!

3. Rehearsal Time 

Let’s practice for the show!

• Teach how to walk the runway (slow, proud, fun!)

• Practice saying:
  
  “My outfit is made from ___, and I was inspired by ___!”

4. Fashion Show! 

Turn on some music and let’s shine! 

Each person walks the runway, shows off their outfit, and shares their eco-message.

Parents, teachers, or classmates can cheer and take photos!

5. Reflect and Share (10 min)

Now let’s sit in a circle and talk:

• “What materials did you use?”

• “Was it hard or easy to reuse things?”

• “How can we make fashion more eco-friendly?”

• “What will you try reusing next?”

You just made fashion that helps the Earth — and you looked awesome doing it! Fashion doesn’t have to hurt the planet. It can protect it, if we use our creativity.
